I’m always at a loss as to what to create a post about when participating in a blog hop, but I suppose that since it’s supposed to bring about a bit of publicity for us Indie authors, and gain us new fans, that I’ll say a bit about myself here before letting you get on your way to the next stop.

snapshot(1)My writing name is Chelsea Falin- that’s also my maiden name- although I am now married and boast the last name ‘Hammond’ on all legal documents. I was born and raised in a small town in west-central Florida called Dade City, but currently make my home in a small town somewhere in southern New Jersey. I married up and settled down when I was eighteen to the love of my life, Bobby, and the two of us have been happily married for almost five years now. Just before my nineteenth birthday I gave birth to our beautiful, now-four-year-old daughter, Vikki Beth. My husband supports the family working in the recreational department of a well-know family resort town (I.E. he’s a city worker), and I work as an author and freelance blog/article writer while staying at home with our daughter. We have four pets: two 1 1/2 year old guinea pigs (the size of small kittens, nonetheless) named Rascal and Leroy; a 2 year old goldfish named Sassy; and a 1 year old Northern Diamondback Terrapin named Lucky (he was a rescue).Β  My hobbies include: reading, writing, fishing, hiking or anything outdoors really, and spending time with my family/friends.

I began writing at the age of five, when I started writing horribly misspelled short stories. I started writing with an intent to publish at the age of sixteen, finally publishing at age nineteen. That first book would be ‘A Severing of Ties.’ That was four years ago and since then I have released eleven other titles, three of which are novels (‘A Gathering of Sorrows,’ ‘Less Than Humble Beginnings,’ and ‘Personal Growth’).Β  My work in progress is a romantic novel entitled ‘I Found My Heart In West Virginia.’ I am 90% done with the rough draft, and will begin the editing process shortly!

Now that I’m done boring you to death with unimportant ramblings about myself, please go ahead and check out the rest of the fantastic authors participating in this blog hop! Thanks for stopping by y’all!

Thanks for the giveaway. I would like prize 2. Although prize 3 is sounding good too. As one who was born and raised in Tx before moving midwest. But would be happy with any of them. πŸ™‚

I love your ‘get to know me section.’ A very nice touch. Thank you for joining the hop. It looks like all prize packages are swell, but I think #1 suits me the best, although #3 looks really entertaining.
